Targets for molecular and fluorescence imaging
Our proprietary printing technology allows for binding different fluorescent and molecular agents to several substrates.
Besides ICG, 5-ALA and some other common contrast agents, we can also print custom dye compositions on demand and in different concentration ranges.
Application examples include:
- sensitivity studies
- dye – imager interaction
- dye composition optimisation (e.g. quenching effects)

Concentration targets for molecular and fluorescence imaging
Current fluorescence imaging in surgery is limited by subjective signal intensity, which is skewed by extrinsic factors like camera settings and scope distance. Absofi addresses this challenge by introducing standardized ICG reference targets, featuring a concentration scale from 0.01 to 10 uM, that serve as a fixed benchmark within the surgical field.
The companion, camera-agnostic Absofi Image Viewer automatically detects these charts to fit a calibration curve, enabling objective quantification of the fluorescence signal. This innovative system annotates tissue with precise ICG concentration values, transforming subjective visuals into reliable, exportable quantitative data.
NIR Promo Cards
Absofi provides reference cards are used for multiple purposes:
- Check surgical imaging system’s NIR fluorescence function with ICG
- Test and adjust NIR fluorescence imaging system performance under ambient lighting conditions
- Educate NIR fluorescence to staff, students and others
- Use standard reference card for benchmark testing

Performance Evaluation of Imaging Systems
Absofi can provide homogeneous and standardised concentration charts in compact, Din-A4 and Din-A3 dimensions for several industrial applications.
