Dot array target

A “dot array” target is included for assessing the field homogeneity of fluorescence imaging systems. The target consists of a regular grid of ICG-printed dots at a density of 10 dots per centimeter, allowing for precise visual and quantitative evaluation of uniformity across the field of view.

The standard format is credit card-sized for easy handling and portability, but larger formats (e.g., DIN A4) are available upon request to accommodate different imaging systems or test setups.

Applications include:

• Field uniformity checks: Verifying consistent excitation and detection performance across the entire imaging area.

• System QA and calibration: Serving as part of routine quality assurance to detect misalignments, shading, or detector non-linearity.

• Camera and optics testing: Evaluating the impact of lenses, filters, or viewing angles on signal uniformity.

• Software validation: Supporting the development and testing of image correction algorithms or flat-field normalization tools.

• Training and demonstration: Providing a simple, visual way to demonstrate system performance during setup, training, or presentations.
